This project came at a time when Malaysians were adjusting to the targeted petrol subsidy rollout. The challenge was twofold.
First, to reassure people that no matter how tough things felt, Petron would continue to be there, helping Malaysians get through it, together. Second, to make it easy for people to understand how to check and claim their petrol subsidy eligibility.
While many brands took a serious, instructional approach, we felt the moment called for something different. Something lighter. More human. Easier to remember. That’s how PASTI OK was born. A campaign rooted in optimism, clarity and reassurance, rather than complexity. The PASTI OK logo was expressed through sign language, reflecting inclusivity and the belief that reassurance should be felt by everyone. In the music video, alongside Mimifly and professional dancers, we featured everyday Malaysians, people who simply love to dance, turning the film into a shared moment of support, resilience and togetherness.
